Barnardo's (SEone Service)

CLASH (Central London Action on Street Health)

Information, advice, counselling on drugs, HIV & other health issues for young homeless people, drug users, gay men and sex workers. Phone for emergency needle exchange and for times of LGBT sexual health clinics.

Gay Men’s Shared Housing Project

Medium-term accommodation-based support to gay men aged 18-65 who have been the victims of domestic or homophobic abuse/ violence. Confidence building, mental health, substance use and harm minimisation, boundaries, education and employment, sexual health awareness, relationship skills and personal safety.

Mainliners (England)

Positive East

For HIV+ people in East London. Gay men's health trainers, counsellor and mentoring. Advice on welfare, asylum & immigration, housing etc. African specialist workers. Languages: Swahili, French, Lingala, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Luganda & Italian.

Praed Street Project

Outreach for women who work in the sex industry, on the streets and in working flats. Clinic-based STD services Monday to Friday. Advice on sexual health, support and info on sex work, the law, drugs, housing, HIV, self-defence/ safety, and to meet other women. Drop in or phone. Clinics by appointment.

St Mungo's (Lambeth Mobile Harm Reduction and Needle Exchange)

U-Turn Project

Works with women of all ages in Newham who have been trapped in cycles of prostitution, drug addiction, physical abuse and homelessness from a young age. Phone 020 8983 1553 or approach the U-turn vehicle on Monday evening.

West London Centre for Counselling

Counselling for people who have experienced addiction or are are going through emotional problems. Runs a self-referral service for people affected by AIDS or HIV.

British Pregnancy Advisory Service

DABS Pathfinder Service

National Assn for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC)

Rape Crisis (England & Wales)

Confidential helpline, with calls charged at local rate - mobile rates may vary. Information about contraception, pregnancy, abortion, sexually transmitted infections and sexual wellbeing. Sexual Health Helpline

Find your nearest clinic or just find out about AIDS and HIV. The telephone hotline is free and confidential. Trained staff can answer questions on contraception, family planning, sexual health, clinics etc.

Survivors UK

National helpline offering information and support to men who have been sexually assaulted at any time in their lives, and those who care for them. One-to-one counselling and support groups for male survivors in the London area. Awareness and training for agencies whose client group includes male survivors.

Rape Crisis Scotland

For anyone affected by sexual violence, no matter when or how it happened. The helpline offers free and confidential support and information and can put you in touch with other services. Minicom service for deaf or hard of hearing people (0141 332 2168). They can arrange for interpreters if your first language is not English. Our member centres provide free confidential support and information for women and girls who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. The Sandyford Initiative

Counselling for male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Free emergency contraception for under-20s. Testing and counselling for men who have sex with men and for women involved in prostitution. Contact them for times.
